Queen Street HLF Community Project

As part of the Queen Street Townscape Heritage Scheme, I was involved in a community project researching the history of Queen Street Wolverhampton to produce an exhibition at Wolverhampton Art Gallery.

Queen Street was created in the 1750's, during a time of growth and prosperity for Wolverhampton. This project encouraged community engagement through investigations into the rich history of how the street has developed and progressed over the years. Local volunteers came together to research several properties along Queen Street, highlighting areas of local importance and change. I’m proud to have been Exhibition Assistant on this collaborative project, aiding with the site-specific investigations, visualising our research, curating the space and incorporating all the rich work from across the community.
